Cheers, beer lovers. I’m happy to join the craft beer community as a beer blogger. I want to stress to the folks reading that it’s a hobby for me – not my day job. You’re not going to get a professional beer expert critique of everything I drink – but that’s not the goal here. My goal is to talk about the beer that I’ve been drinking in a way that maybe a person who’s been drinking Bud Light in a basement for too long can understand.
It’s important to me that the craft beer world is accessible to as many people as possible, even if they don’t know all of the fancy words and terminology just yet. If you read – you’ll get genuine recommendations from me about what beer I think is happening, and usually links to beer language definitions, beer descriptions, and breweries.
My mission is to be a part of making the craft beer community a little bigger so there can be more of us supporting small craft breweries, drinking better beer, and even advocating for policy and community action that makes good beer accessible to everyone.
Hey hey Lora Rae. No clue how I ended up on your blog and it seems you haven’t updated it in forever so I’m not sure if you’ll ever see this. Just wanted you to know that I enjoyed your writings and reviews on here. Its refreshing to hear someone living in CT speak so freely and honestly about our neighborhood breweries.
You seem like someone that you could have a great, intelligent conversation with. If you ever end up reading this, shoot me an email as I would enjoy a good old fashioned intelligent conversation with you.
Thanks for the blog as I really enjoyed reading it. Hope to hear from you at some point in the future.
Life leads people on all kinds of roads. Try to travel as many of those roads as possible. You never know who you’ll meet along the way.
